Lalibela is far away from everything. Meaning everything what you buy here is more expensive than anywhere else. It's not a cheap town in general. You cannot find supermarkets here, only little shops with basics. But you find a lot of souvenir shops, selling crosses and other traditional things. Lalibelas honey is holy- if you have the chance- check the honey seller on the saturday market and/ or drink our honey wine called Tej.
