Day 1:

Gondar - Sankaber:

Early on the morning drive from Gondar to Debark. At the park H.Q in Debark will pay entrance fee,

get y our scout and guide then drive in the park, arrive at Sankaber. Ofcourse, you also can drive all

the way up to Sankaber or drive till near Buyit Ras for a short hike. If hiking, you will have the

chance to enjoy the beautiful and endless mountain ridges view, and likely see some gelada

baboons.

Day 02:

Sankaber - Geech Camp:

In the morning after breakfast at Sankaber, hiking following the ridge and look out over the

foothills 800m down. From the ridge you will go downhill to the valley where you will be able to

view the Jinbar River dipping into the Geech Abyss. After a break and enjoyed the view at the

waterfall, continue on to Geech village where you will find your second camp-site.

Day 03:

Geech -Ambaras:

Her comes the route Geech to Ambaras, many hikers agree that it’s the most spectacular hiking

rout the Simiens have to offer. On this route you will pass through Imet Gogo, with the altitude of

3,926m and more. There you will be able to enjoy the amazing landscape view from 360 degrees.

From this height view point you will also see the huge canyon below, distant ridges, and the never

ending valleys view. Here you will have a long break and lunch, then hike to Ambaras where your

for Gondar is waiting for you.
