Day 1:
One of the guide will meet you at the airport arrival with a car to bring you to your Hotel. The drive from the Airport to Laibela town (your hotel) is 24 k/m, around 30 minutes.
After check-in and lunch break around 2pm start your tour to the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, visit the North-western Cluster of churches
-Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bet Mikael & Bet Golgotha.
After having visited the churches we take you to explore Lalibela town, and dinner in Kana Restaurant or Ben Abeba Restaurant.
Day 2 :
Around 8:30am after breakfast go visit the South-eastern Cluster of churches
–Bet Gabriel-Rufael, Bet Merkorios, Bet Amanual, and Bet Abba
Libanos. Finally, you will visit the most famous of all the churches –Bet Giyorgis.
In the afternoon, drive 42 k/m to the famous cave church of Yimrehane kristos, there you also will have the chance to explore small farmer villages where you will see the life of the locals very closely, and get invited for our famous coffee ceremony. Then drive back to Lalibela town.
After having dinner at Kana Restaurant or Ben Abeba, we invite you to try our famous house-made Honey wine in one of the best traditional bar we have in town called Torpido. There you will see the way we (Amhara tribe) dance, and enjoy our traditional music live. Later we bring you to your hotel.
Next day morning transfer to the airport.
